Fujitsu, a leading supplier to telecommunication and cable television
service providers, has added the BTI platform
to the Fujitsu FLASHWAVE® optical networking portfolio. This
addition allows longer network spans to be traversed, while enabling
simple, low cost Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) support
for up to 32 wavelengths. The resulting product combination strips
cost and complexity from large metropolitan networks and offers a fast and cost-effective way
to introduce WDM capabilities into a network.
